


Submission Guidelines
The ILS Hariyali Blog accepts submissions of well-researched articles, essays, opinion pieces, case comments, short notes, creative pieces and artworks on relevant themes related to the environment and Environmental Law on a rolling basis.
Guidelines for submission:

Submissions are open for students, legal researchers, academicians, policy-makers, legal professionals, and other experts, on a rolling basis.

All essays and articles must adhere to a word-limit of 1000-1500 words, excluding footnotes. However, the word limit is flexible for other forms of submissions.

All submissions should be made in English.

All submissions, except artwork, must be submitted in MS Word format. Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, Line Spacing: 1.5, Alignment: justified.

All submissions should be appropriately referenced, wherever required, using the SILC format of citation. Citation font: Times New Roman, Size: 10, Line Spacing: 1, Alignment: justified.​

Artworks, electronically drawn or painted, or sketched by hand, should be submitted in JPEG format.

All submissions should be an original work of the author. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Submissions that contain more than 15% plagiarized content, will be rejected outright.

All submissions should be mailed to ilshariyali@ilslaw.in. The body of the email should clearly mention the name, qualifications, institutional affiliation, phone number and email ID of the author.

The decision of the editorial board with regards to publication shall be final.
